TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This document (together with all documents mentioned herein) establishes the terms and conditions governing the use of this website – www.rssh.ro (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).
The purpose of the Website is to present and promote the activities carried out at the level of the Romanian Society for Surgery of the Hand (RSSH).
Please read these Terms and Conditions, the Cookies Policy and the Privacy Policy before using the Website. By accessing and using the Website, you expressly acknowledge the binding nature of these documents and undertake to comply with them.

TERMS:
“Personal data” – means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. (art. 4 point 1 of GDPR 679/2016).
“Processing” – means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, with or without the use of automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction (art. 4 point 2 of GDPR 679/2016).
“Physician” – refers to natural persons holding an official qualification in medicine, within the meaning of Law no. 95/2006 on the healthcare reform.
“Applicant” – refers to legal or natural persons who address RSSH with any type of request.
“Visitor” – designates any person who accesses and/or uses the website www.rssh.ro.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Society is the exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights relating to the content of the Website, including, but not limited to: articles, text, photographs, illustrations, trademarks, logos and designs.
Visitors to the Website may access, download and print the materials published on the Website, free of charge, solely for personal use and for non-commercial purposes only. As a result of taking any of these actions, visitors to the Website are not transferred or recognized any right, title or are not guaranteed any legitimate interest in the materials published on the Website.
No section of the content of the Website over which the Society has an intellectual property right may be reproduced, distributed or published in any form, for any purpose or by any means, without the prior written consent of the Society.
Therefore, visitors to the Website declare that, by simply using the Website, they understand and agree not to copy, modify, sell, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish or create works/derivatives based on the information published on the Website.

By using the Website, you agree to provide us with: first and last name, an E-mail address, telephone number and/or other correct and accurate contact information. If you do not provide us with all the information we need, we may not be able to respond to your requests in relation to the specific activities carried out at the level of the RSSH.

The Society assumes no liability for any damages that the Website Visitor, the Applicant, the Physician or any other third party may suffer as a result of using the Website in any way or purpose or as a result of the Society proper fulfillment of any of its legal and/or contractual obligations.
The Visitor will use the information provided through the Website entirely at his/her own risk. He/she is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of information transferred/received through the Website and for processing it in accordance with the legal provisions on the protection of personal data.
Information of any type presented through the Website is provided by the Society in the form and content in which it was received or taken over, without modification. The Society does not guarantee and does not assume liability for the correctness, accuracy or timeliness of any of this information.
OUR RIGHT TO MODIFY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We have the right to review and modify the Terms and Conditions from time to time and in our sole discretion.
You are responsible for reading the Terms and Conditions, Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy in their entirety, as the most up-to-date version in force at the time of using the Website will apply.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
The use of the Website and the conclusion, execution and termination of contracts concluded with the Society through the Website will be governed by Romanian law.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with the use of the Website or the conclusion, execution and termination of such contracts will be resolved amicably or, if this is not possible, the disputes will be resolved by the competent Romanian courts.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The processing of personal data by the Society takes place in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (”General Data Protection Regulation”) and the relevant national legislation on the protection of personal data.

Lainici no. 9, Sector 1, postal code 012251 (with the mention For the attention of the Data Protection Officer), or to the headquarters of the Territorial Society, or by e-mail to their addresses.
