PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The congress covers all relevant and modern topics in hand surgery – including microsurgery, fractures, arthroscopy, soft tissue ultrasound, nerves, tendons, osteoarthritis, and CRPS. Francisco del Piñal 🇪🇸
Dr. Francisco del Piñal is a world-renowned hand and wrist surgeon based inSpain, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in microsurgical toe-to-handtransfers and wrist arthroscopy techniques. He is the founder and director of theInstituto de Cirugía Plástica y de la Mano, with clinics in Madrid and Santander.
Dr. del Piñal received his medical degree from Universidad Complutense deMadrid and completed advanced training in microsurgery and hand surgery inAustralia and the United States. He has held prestigious positions, includingPresident of the European Wrist Arthroscopy Society (now IWAS), and has been akeynote speaker at major international conferences, such as the American Societyfor Surgery of the Hand and the Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgeryof the Hand.
Author of several influential books and over 500 scientific publications, Dr. delPiñal continues to lead global training programs, mentoring over 300 specialistsworldwide. His innovative techniques have significantly advanced the field of hand surgery.
